The Frederick armchair explores curves and the Gestalt principle of continuity, where the backrest, base, legs, and arms come together as a single element.
The robust upholstery features metal-finished spacers that separate the wooden arches, creating the effect of arms floating around the seat. Meanwhile, the wooden back frame embraces the backrest with precision.
Beyond the spacers, the Frederick features large buttons on the back that add distinction and enhance its imposing wooden frame. Natural leather was chosen for the armrests, providing a tactile sense of comfort during moments of relaxation.
A futuristic design merges with classic style in this original creation, which draws inspiration from Streamline Moderne. The two-tone upholstery emphasizes the contours of the seat and highlights its exuberant wooden structure.
