Tay comes from ancient Tupi — ta’y: seed, origin, that which generates continuity. Within the same term coexist beginning and becoming, the gesture that precedes growth and the time yet to come.
The name also reveals itself in the form. On the back, the leather traces a subtle Y — an organic bifurcation that evokes life unfolding, the moment when the seed chooses its paths.
Its design is organic and embracing, almost primordial, like a grain just before breaking through the earth. The wood holds memory; the leather, worked with precision, carries the human gesture and lived time.
